A class meant for the girl in your life who could use some support in creating a strong body image, in regulating anxiety and nerves, in learning to focus the mind, and in enjoying her mind/body/spirit!

Yoga ​​​​​​​​​Skills for Good Mental Health

This group is meant to teach the skills that create a good relationship between the brain and the body. It is a gentle practice utilizing breath, meditation and mindfulness, awareness, thinking exercises, and relaxation to teach the skills research has proven to relieve stress, anxiety and depression, PTSD, and to change habits of mind and body.


Sessions are 60 minutes  and will focus on a specific intention for improving your thinking through yoga poses and skills taught.  This is not a fitness-type physical practice. Chair supported sessions use the chair for sitting postures and also as support for standing postures, as needed.  Roll and Release class on Sunday nights is a Yin focus and uses the foam roller for release of emotional and physical stress and strain.

Single session ($20) OR use a session pass (6 sessions for $100).  I can also bill to some insurances, if you have a mental health referral or are a client of mine. 

~Tuesdays  6:30 PM

~Sundays Yoga for Release 6:00 PM

~2 Saturdays a month w/chair

~2 Saturdays a month w/out chair

Meditation and Movement

A group geared to those wanting the benefits of meditation/mindfulness, focus and awareness.  OR, those wanting to learn to practice meditation for longer periods of time and with greater understanding.

Meditation changes your mind. So, if you want to learn this  skill and gain that power join us!

We will practice a variety of forms of meditation, so that participants can find the form that fits them best.  We will also incorporate gentle movement to avoid stiffness and discomfort and learn to lengthen the practice for physical and mental benefits.
